Adoption Process
BEFORE MOVING TO THE ADOPTION APPLICATION - KEEP IN MIND YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT SUBMIT IF YOU LEAVE OUT REQUIRED INFORMATION. THIS APPLICATION HAS SUCCESSFULLY SUBMITTED MANY APPLICATIONS, IF IT IS NOT SUBMITTING IT IS HUMAN ERROR!
The Process:
We have established a small team of VOLUNTEERS to handle adoption applications for the animals in our care. Keep in mind, they work regular jobs and have a life outside of volunteering - BE PATIENT AND KIND.
- We do NOT allow same day adoptions, meaning you can't walk-in, apply and leave with a dog. You MUST submit an ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION. Our team will process the application and schedule a meet if approved.
- Staring March 24, 2024 Walk -In viewing to see dog will be allowed - however the process above will still apply. We do NOT allow "Fingers in Cages" - If you don't follow that rule, you'll be asked to leave.
- Do NOT message our Facebook page asking about the status of your application - our social media person is not involved with the adoption process. Keep in mind Most applications are delayed if your references do not respond or your vet office, please give all the heads up to move your application along.
- If you have submitted an ADOPTION APPLICATION allow 48-72 hours for a response BEFORE emailing us at w2wadoptions@gmail.com. Please do not email us to say "you submitted an application" - we know!
